Boy Willie

Boy Willie is a short film about a family of fishermen. It follows Tim Vinnicombe, a 5th-generation oysterman, on the Fal fishery in Cornwall. The film is a reflection on his legendary career lasting over 50 years, hauling oysters under sail 6 days a week. His boat, Boy Willie, which has been in his family since the 1920’s, now faces the threat of having no natural successor.
